Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll using QuickBooks Online and ADP systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Assist in tax preparation documentation and audit support
- Implement internal controls for financial data integrity
- Manage vendor relationships and expense tracking workflows
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and IRS regulations
- Strong numerical accuracy and data entry skills (10,000+ keystrokes/hr)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail
- Willingness to pursue QuickBooks certification within 6 months
