Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor invoices
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation
- Implement QuickBooks for small business clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- Support month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Florida residency preferred (not required)
