Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and financial statements.
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare and distribute invoices and expense reports to clients and vendors.
- Support the senior accounting team with data entry, filing, and administrative tasks.
- Learn and utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and internal processes.
