Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and report preparation
- Organize and file financial documents per compliance standards
- Support tax preparation processes with documentation gathering
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis tasks
- Update client financial databases with transactional data
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and bookkeeping fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- QuickBooks certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
