As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring our clients receive top-tier service.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare accurate monthly financial statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and the maintenance of employee timekeeping records.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation.
- Assist in preparing tax documents and financial reports for management review.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) to track and categorize financial transactions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and GAAP is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
