Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Prepare invoices, expense reports, and payroll documentation
- Support tax preparation activities with organized record-keeping
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial transactions
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client financial analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing procedures
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant internship or part-time accounting experience preferred
