Responsibilities
- General Ledger Maintenance: Accurately record daily financial transactions and update the general ledger system.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, track outgoing payments, and issue bills to clients in a timely manner.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll department by collecting time sheets and preparing payroll documentation.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing basic financial reports, expense summaries, and ledgers for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities adhere to company policies and federal tax regulations.
- Data Entry: Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous when handling numbers and sensitive financial data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
