Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciling bank statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and monthly closing procedures.
- Manage payroll data and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records and documentation.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and payment schedules.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Ability to learn accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) quickly.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
