Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare financial statements and reports for client review
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audits
- Implement and maintain organized digital filing systems for financial documents
- Collaborate with senior accountants on tax preparation and compliance
- Support clients with financial inquiries and process improvements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor with client-facing experience preferred
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or internship experience preferred
