Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process incoming invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter vendor information and transaction data into our accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or Oracle).
- Vendor Communication: Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and communicating with vendors regarding payment status.
- Reporting: Support the month-end close process by preparing AP reports and reconciling accounts.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical records of all financial transactions.
- Assistance: Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or finance role is a plus, but not required for this entry-level position.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organization: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.
