What You'll Do
As an Accounts Payable Associate, your primary focus will be on processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors. We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and accurately code incoming invoices for payment.
- Process payments via ACH and checks in strict accordance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with the month-end closing process and financial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors to resolve payment inquiries.
- Perform general data entry and administrative support as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and numbers.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
