Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or errors.
- Prepare and schedule weekly or bi-weekly payments via ACH and checks.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all accounts payable documentation.
- Assist the Finance team with month-end close procedures and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding invoice status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or finance role preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology.
