Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment
- Reconcile purchase orders with invoices and receipts
- Manage expense reports and employee reimbursements
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment inquiries
- Support internal audits and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) preferred
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (required for occasional off-site errands)
