Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Enter invoice data into the accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) with high speed and accuracy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and account queries.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including preparing reports and maintaining logs.
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing systems for easy retrieval.
- Perform general administrative support tasks for the finance team as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is highly preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new processes.
