Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Enter and update accounts payable data into accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare weekly and monthly payment batches for approval.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
