Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Enter and maintain accurate data in our accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite).
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on outstanding payables.
- Assist in the monthly closing process and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all accounts payable transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; associate’s degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Basic computer literacy, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel (Excel training provided).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new financial software systems.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace are required for remote/on-site flexibility.
