Job Summary
As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring accuracy in our daily operations. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or career changers to gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and spreadsheets with a high degree of precision.
- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
- Invoicing: Process invoices, prepare bills, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Record Keeping: Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for financial documents.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and financial summaries for management review.
- Customer Service: Respond to inquiries from internal departments regarding account status and billing information.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required. We train the right candidates!
- Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain data integrity.
- Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and financial calculations.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
