Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of financial transactions and data entry.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts with general ledgers.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial records.
- Prepare basic financial reports and invoices for review by senior staff.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding account status and transactions.
- Support the accounting team with month-end close procedures.
- Perform routine audits of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- No prior professional accounting experience required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic math skills and aptitude for working with numbers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
