What You Will Do:
As part of our finance team, you will support the daily operations of our accounting department and assist senior accountants in maintaining accurate financial records for our diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and support the preparation of financial statements.
- Organize and maintain accurate financial documentation for audits and tax filings.
- Assist in budget preparation and perform variance analysis for assigned accounts.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to enter and verify data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (0-2 years of experience preferred).
- Candidate for CPA certification or currently pursuing a CPA license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
