Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of general ledger accounts and monthly financial statements.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, verify expenses, and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under the guidance of senior accountants.
- Organize and file financial documents, maintaining a clean and accessible record system.
- Conduct basic cost analysis and assist in the preparation of budget reports.
- Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external auditors regarding financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or internship background is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel functions.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for team meetings.
