Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure timely processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements for management review.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate and resolve any financial discrepancies.
- Support the annual audit process by organizing, analyzing, and presenting financial data.
- Process and verify expense reports and invoices with high accuracy.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) for data entry and reporting tasks.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as directed by senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing CPA certification).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships and recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas).
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
