Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial documentation and filing systems.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Conduct routine audits of financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with the senior accounting team to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
