Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance of the general ledger and daily accounting operations.
- Process and verify accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes and reporting schedules.
- Prepare basic financial statements, trial balances, and reconciliation reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and compliance filings.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
