Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Accounts Management: Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to maintain healthy cash flow records.
- General Ledger: Maintain the general ledger, including posting entries and verifying account balances.
- Compliance: Assist with internal audits and ensure all financial documentation is organized and accessible.
- Support: Provide analytical support to the finance team and assist with budget preparation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (recent graduates welcome).
- Certification: Currently pursuing CPA or relevant accounting certification (e.g., CMA, ACCA) is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite).
- Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in complex data sets.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
