Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Prepare basic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for audits and tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel preferred.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
