Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Organize and maintain financial records, ledgers, and databases in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budget reports for management review.
- Process expense reports and invoice payments in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role or internship experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP guidelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude.
