Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Perform bank reconciliations and assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support the preparation of financial statements and general reporting.
- Assist in the organization and filing of financial documentation and tax records.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and monitor budget compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships welcome).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
