Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks and accurate data entry into accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process and monitor accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Prepare basic financial reports and ledgers for management review.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end close procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with Excel experience being a plus.
- Ability to learn new accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
