Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform daily data entry and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes under supervision.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in budget preparation.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding account status.
- File and organize physical and digital financial documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are a plus).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
