The Role:
As our new Accountant, you will learn the fundamentals of accounting while supporting our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a resume in a high-demand field.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable tasks.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Generate basic financial reports and spreadsheets.
- File and organize financial documentation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Valid driver's license (not required for this remote role).
