Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports
- Process payroll and maintain employee expense records
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel) for data entry
- Collaborate with team members to resolve financial discrepancies
- Participate in ongoing training to develop accounting expertise
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
- Organized with time management capabilities
- No prior accounting experience required
