Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Generate basic financial reports and assist in the preparation of tax documents.
- File and organize financial documentation and invoices.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and data entry tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers.
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to learn new software.
