Responsibilities
- Account Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance of accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing required schedules and reports.
- Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations (GAAP).
- Documentation: Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for all financial documents and transactions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA eligibility is a plus.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience (internships or entry-level roles welcome).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is mandatory) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with team members and clients.
