Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts and credit card statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- General Ledger Support: Maintain the general ledger by recording daily transactions and updating accounts.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify data, and ensure timely payment to vendors while monitoring accounts receivable.
- Administrative Support: Support the senior accounting team with data entry, filing, and ad-hoc analysis projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with team members.
