As an Entry Level Accountant, you will play a vital role in maintaining our financial health, assisting with month-end close processes, and ensuring accuracy in our reporting. Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by gathering and organizing financial data.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax documents and government compliance filings.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts and fixed asset schedules.
- Review and audit expense reports and invoices for accuracy and compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external vendors regarding billing and payments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or internship experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
