Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing and reconciliation.
- Support the monthly and year-end close process by maintaining accurate general ledger records.
- Prepare and organize financial statements and reports for management review.
- Perform data entry and ensure all financial documentation is properly filed and organized.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation of tax documents and audits under supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
