Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a high degree of precision.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records and documents.
- Prepare basic financial spreadsheets and reports for management review.
- Support the month-end close process by gathering necessary data and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assist with payroll processing and the preparation of standard tax forms.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices and payment status.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional accounting experience required; we provide full training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and a strong desire to learn accounting principles.
