Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily preparation and posting of journal entries and general ledger accounts.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including variance analysis.
- Organize and maintain financial documentation and records in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial statements and management reports.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices and account status in a professional manner.
- Perform data entry and audit support tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn new software and processes.
