Responsibilities
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including data entry and invoice processing.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records and filing systems.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with budget preparation as directed.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries in a professional manner.
- Perform general clerical duties to support the finance department's daily operations.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial terminology (prior internship or coursework is a plus but not mandatory).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow within the accounting field.
