Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and digital filing systems.
- Assistance: Support the senior accounting team with audits, tax preparations, and budget analysis.
- Inquiries: Respond to internal and external financial inquiries in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience (internships or entry-level roles preferred).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial software (QuickBooks or Xero is a plus).
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
