Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll entries and maintain personnel files.
- Assist external auditors during annual audits with data collection and documentation.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to manage financial transactions.
- Support the finance department with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships considered).
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively in a team setting.
