Responsibilities
- Assist the senior accounting team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate before payment.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents for easy retrieval and audit.
- Perform data entry and reconcile discrepancies in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries and payment issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with numerical data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, formulas are a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software and financial regulations.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
