Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and posting of daily journal entries and adjusting entries.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable invoices.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review and verify financial data for accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Generate and analyze basic financial reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and status updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years of experience).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect discrepancies.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
