Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable processing and month-end closing procedures
- Support tax preparation and documentation for federal/state filings
- Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems (Sage 100 preferred)
- Contribute to internal audits and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA candidates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial controls
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication abilities for stakeholder interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks or ERP system experience preferred
