Responsibilities
- Monitor Regulatory Landscape: Continuously track changes in local, state, and federal regulations to ensure our policies remain up-to-date.
- Conduct Internal Audits: Perform comprehensive risk assessments and internal audits to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Policy Development: Draft, review, and update company policies and procedures to align with legal requirements.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate internal reports of potential violations and recommend corrective actions.
- Staff Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on compliance standards and ethical practices.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance, auditing, or regulatory role.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of applicable laws such as SOX, HIPAA, or state-specific regulations.
- Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training.
