Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly financial statements and general ledgers.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes with efficiency and precision.
- Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
- Assist senior accountants with tax preparation documentation and compliance audits.
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in complex data sets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.
