Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights to management.
- Support external auditors by providing requested documentation and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Excel) to manage complex datasets and generate reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently enrolled in a CPA/MAcc program).
- 0-2 years of professional experience in accounting, finance, or a relevant internship.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) highly preferred.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to detect errors and maintain data integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict deadlines and company policies.
