Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and reconciliation tasks
- Prepare financial statements and regulatory reports under supervision
- Support audit processes by maintaining organized documentation
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies
- Adhere to GAAP standards and internal compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles preferred
- Willingness to pursue CPA certification long-term
- Valid Texas driver's license (client site visits required)
