Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping: Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Excel) with high precision.
- Invoicing: Generate and send invoices to clients and process incoming payments.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing basic financial reports and statements for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting practices comply with federal and state regulations.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the senior accounting team as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role, internship experience, or equivalent coursework.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Software: Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to detect errors and maintain high levels of accuracy.
