Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts: Handle full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
- Bookkeeping Systems: Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero to manage ledgers, invoices, and financial reports.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain general ledgers, trial balances, and monthly financial statements for client review.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation (1099s/W-2s) as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with GAAP and local regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; High School diploma with relevant experience considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Software: Proficient in QuickBooks (Desktop and/or Online) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to spot discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Availability: Must be available for immediate start.
